The Faculty of Economics, as an integral part of Kharkiv National University, is accredited at the fourth highest level and trains students at the following educational and qualificational levels: bachelor, specialist and master.

   Bachelor is the educational and qualificational level of higher education of an individual who, on the basis of complete secondary education, is receiving basic higher education and fundamental and special skills and knowledge on some object of labour (activity) sufficient for fulfilment of tasks and obligations (works) of a certain professional activity level provided for primary positions for a certain category of economic activity.
   Specialist is the educational and qualificational level of higher education of an individual who, on the basis of bachelor's education, is receiving complete higher education and special skills and knowledge sufficient for fulfilment of tasks and obligations (works) of a certain professional activity level provided for primary positions for a certain category of economic activity.
   Master is the educational and qualificational level of higher education of an individual who, on the basis of the educational and qualificational level of bachelor or specialist, is receiving special skills and knowledge sufficient for fulfilment of tasks and obligations (works) of innovational character of a certain professional activity level provided for primary positions for a certain category of economic activity.
