The All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of students, post-graduate students and young scientists, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, was held in April 2005, according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, at the KhNU on the basis of the Faculty of Economic, together with the Scientific Student’s Society.

            8 sections functioned in the framework of the Conference:

1) Development of Economic Theory under the Conditions of Globalization;

2) Problems of Economics and Management in Modern Organizations;

3) Actual Problems and Prospects of Development of the Finance and Credit System of Ukraine;

4) Mathematical Methods and Models in Economics;

5) Actual Problems of International Relations;

6) Theory and Practice of Modern Marketing;

7) Economic Statistics;

8) Accounting and Audit.

            218 students, post-graduate students and young scientists participated in the Conference, including representatives from other higher educational institutions of Kharkiv, Ukraine and the CIS: the Kiev National Economic University, V. Dahl East-Ukrainian National University, Taras Shevchenko Lugansk National Pedagogical University, the Kharkiv University of Air Forces, the National University of Strategic Research, the Kharkiv National Economic University, the National Technical University “Kharkiv Politechnical Institute”, the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, Yaroslav Mudriy National Law Academy of Ukraine.

            The best reports were marked with Diplomas of the Organizational Committee.

The following students were awarded Diplomas of the first degree: I. Rykov, T. Tymoshenko, I. Lavrova, S. Omelchenko, D. Mangushev, O. Bokhan, E. Poltavtsev, A. Galkin, TSaltevskaya.

Diplomas of the second degree were presented to the students: G. Litvinyuk, Y. Pogorelova, O. Bukholdina, E. Brydun, E. Babenko, ZhStorozheva, E. Bozoyan, M. Poltavskaya and D. Davidov.

The following students: I. Mitropan, O. Vankevich, E. Minko, L. Boyko, D. Polyak, Y. Shatrovskaya, G. Yevtushenko, V. Yurchenko, A. Zhuravlev, O. Chumak, M. Belov and A. Balyuk, received Diplomas of the third degree.
